About the Opportunity

As the Senior Manager, Pharmacy PET & SPECT, you will lead an integrated radiopharmacy operation that supports both PET and SPECT service lines. You will oversee manufacturing, pharmacy operations, quality, compliance, financial performance, customer partnerships, and team development. This highly visible leadership role provides the opportunity to influence operational strategy, support growth initiatives, and help shape the future of radiopharmaceutical services.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all aspects of PET manufacturing, cyclotron operations, production planning, and product distribution.

  • Drive a culture of safety, compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, USP <825>, USP <797>, USP <800>, NRC, DOT, Agreement State, and state Board of Pharmacy requirements.

  • Maintain inspection readiness and lead audits, CAPA activities, and regulatory interactions.

  • Optimize production schedules, inventory utilization, facility readiness, and operational performance.

  • Partner with commercial teams to support customer retention, service excellence, new product launches, and growth initiatives.

  • Serve as an operational and radiopharmaceutical subject matter expert for customers and healthcare partners.

  • Manage site financial performance, operating expenses, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.

  • Develop and mentor pharmacists, technicians, radiochemists, cyclotron operators, couriers, and operational personnel.

  • Support succession planning, talent development, employee engagement, and workforce planning efforts.

  • Ensure adherence to ALARA principles and all radiation safety standards.

  • May serve as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) or oversee site RSO activities.

What You Bring

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.

  • Active Pharmacist in good standing.

  • Experience in P.E.T. manufacturing and cyclotron operations (4+ years) required.

  • Leadership experience in operations or team management (2+ years preferred).

  • Board Certified Nuclear Pharmacist (BCNP) preferred.

  • Authorized User (AU) status or eligibility under NRC regulations preferred.

  • Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation, dispensing, and quality control procedures.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of USP <825>, USP <797>, USP <800>, FDA cGMP regulations, NRC regulations, Agreement State requirements, quality systems, CAPA, and inspection readiness.

  • Strong operational, financial, inventory management, and customer relationship management skills.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to navigate regulatory environments and drive process improvements.

  • Customer-focused and team-oriented approach.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screening.

We offer competitive compensation in the range of $190,000 - 215,000, an annual performance bonus of 15%, generous PTO at 160 hours, and 401K matching.
