Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and measurement of marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, member engagement, and organizational growth. This role is responsible for coordinating integrated marketing campaigns, creating and maintaining digital content, supporting social media and email marketing efforts, assisting with events and community engagement initiatives, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and in alignment with brand standards.

The ideal candidate is a creative, organized, detail-oriented marketing professional who enjoys managing multiple projects and collaborating across departments. This position works closely with the Marketing team and internal stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives that promote the organization's products, services and community impact.

Responsibilities

Marketing Campaign Coordination


  • Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, website, and community channels.
  • Coordinate campaign activities, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful execution.
  • Assist in developing campaign content, promotional materials, and supporting assets.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support marketing initiatives that promote organizational products, services, programs, and member engagement.


Social Media & Content


  • Assist with developing, scheduling, and publishing content across social media channels.
  • Maintain and manage the organization's social media content calendar.
  • Monitor social media channels and assist with responding to comments, questions, and messages.
  • Coodinate photography, video, graphics, and other assets needed for social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Track social media performance and preparing reports highlighting engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on social media trends and identify opportunities to increase audience engagement and brand visibility.


Website & Digital Content


  • Maintain and update website content, including text, images, promotions, events, product information, education resources and organizational announcements.
  • Ensure website content is accurate, current, compliant, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Coordinate website updates with internal departments and external partners as needed.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve website content, user experience, and search engine visibility.
  • Support basic SEO and digital content best practices.


Email Marketing & Analytics


  • Assist with the creation, scheduling, and distribution of email marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain audience lists and support email segmentation efforts.
  • Monitor email marketing performance and provide reporting on key engagement metrics.
  • Assist with tracking and reporting on marketing performance across digital channels, campaigns, and events.
  • Support data-driven decision making through analysis of campaign results and audience engagement trends.


Marketing Administration & Project Support


  • Coordinate marketing requests and assist with managing project timelines and deadlines.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers, files, and shared resources.
  • Assist with the development, proofreading, distribution, and organization of marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors, printers, agencies, and other external partners as needed.
  • Help ensure marketing materials and communications follow established brand standards.
  • Assist with gathering information, images, approvals, and other materials needed for marketing projects.
  • Track invoices, purchase orders, expenses, and other marketing-related administrative items as assigned.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity, member needs, and marketing opportunities.


Events & Community Engagement


  • Assist with planning and coordinating organizational events, community activities, sponsorships, and marketing activations.
  • Coordinate event logistics including promotional materials, signage, supplies, registration, schedules, and vendor communication.
  • Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown as needed.
  • Help promote events through social media, website updates, email, and other marketing channels.
  • Maintain an event calendar and assist with tracking event-related deadlines and deliverables.
  • Support post-event follow-up, including gathering photos, creating recap content, and tracking results.
  • Provide additional marketing support as needed.


Qualifications

Required


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and community partners.


Preferred


  • Experience with social media platforms and content scheduling tools.
  • Experience updating website content or working with a content management system preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working in financial services, banking, credit unions, or other regulated industries.

Qualifications


  • High School Diploma Required, bachelor's degree required, Master's or MBA preferred or equivalent experience
  • 15 Years Commercial Lending Experience Required; RMA credit training preferred
  • Knowledge of Equal Credit Opportunity Act as well as other essential banking regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing portfolios within a defined asset range
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written)
  • Must be able to pass a background check including Credit, Drug Screen, Criminal and Bondability
