Chemistry Teacher

Milford Central School is looking to fill the following position: Certified teachers needed to teach Chemistry one period a day and a Technology class one period per day. We are seeking a dynamic and certified Chemistry Teacher to join our science department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and a passion for engaging students in scientific inquiry and critical thinking. Responsibilities include planning and delivering standards-based lessons, conducting laboratory experiments, assessing student progress, and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The Chemistry Teacher will foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, collaboration, and academic excellence. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with colleagues, engaging with parents, and contributing to the school community. The candidate must hold a valid teaching certification in Chemistry (Grades 712 or equivalent) and demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning. Familiarity with current educational technology and safety protocols in the science lab is preferred.
