Title: Warehouse Technician - SAP S/4HANA Shipping & Receiving

Location: Tulsa, OK

Duration: 12 months


Position Summary

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, material handling, shipping, and SAP S/4HANA transaction processing. This position ensures inventory accuracy, timely fulfillment of customer and project requirements, and compliance with company procedures for material movement and asset management.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment, proficiency with SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) transactions, and a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving Operations

  • Receive inbound shipments and verify materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation.
  • Process Goods Receipts (GR) in SAP S/4HANA accurately and within established service level objectives.
  • Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, shortages, damaged materials, and inventory issues.
  • Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve PO and inbound delivery issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inbound transactions and warehouse documentation.


Shipping Operations

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer, project, and operational requirements.
  • Create shipping documentation and coordinate outbound logistics activities.
  • Ensure materials are properly packaged to prevent damage during transit.
  • Track shipments and provide status updates as required.
  • Follow established procedures for asset accountability and chain-of-custody requirements.


Inventory Management

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and routine audits.
  • Perform inventory adjustments and material transfers within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages, overstock situations, and aging inventory.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
  • Support warehouse organization and material storage optimization.


SAP S/4HANA Responsibilities

  • Process Goods Receipts (GR), Goods Issues (GI), stock transfers, inventory adjustments, and other warehouse transactions.
  • Maintain inventory integrity through accurate and timely system updates.
  • Research and resolve transaction errors and inventory discrepancies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse and inventory processes.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and audit requirements.


General Warehouse Duties

  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks, where certified.
  • Load and unload trucks and organize materials within warehouse storage locations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support special projects and other operational activities as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain experience.
  • Experience using SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or similar ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM).
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience supporting telecommunications, technology, or government programs.
  • Knowledge of inventory auditing and cycle count processes.
  • Experience working in high-volume warehouse environments.
