Location:Gulf Coast Medical Center -13681 Doctor's Way Fort Myers FL 33912 Department: Rehabilitation Services Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00AM to 4:30:00PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$20.00 - $23.50 / hour SummaryThe Rehabilitation Technician (Rehab Tech) plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services by working closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapist assistants, and certified occupational therapy assistants. Under the direct supervision of licensed rehabilitation professionals, the Rehab Tech assists with patient care activities, monitors and reports patient changes, and helps ensure effective communication across departments. In addition to supporting clinical services, the Rehab Tech provides essential operational and administrative support, including maintaining a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment and performing clerical duties necessary for efficient department operations. Success in this role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, accountability, effective time management, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to remain calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
