SALARY RANGE STARTING AT: 53K JOB DESCRIPTION: As the Central Indiana Communications and Public Relations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the mission on The Salvation Army in Central Indiana (hereafter CI), through managing and developing public relations, and writing, managing, and editing content for social media pages, websites, other online services, and various publications. The Communications and Public Relations Manager also provides graphic design, digital creative, and video support to the CI. What You Will Do:

Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 30 days of employment. Supervisory Responsibility: May supervise interns and/or support staff and volunteers as needed. Travel: Travel required primarily within Marion County and the surrounding collar counties, with occasional travel within the state of Indiana and to Chicago for training purposes. Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical office environment, with occasional work at Salvation Army units and area venues. Work may occasionally include evenings and weekends, especially during the Christmas season.
