What You'll Do:
  • Design, develop, test, and support advanced digital hardware systems and electronic equipment.
  • Create and maintain complex schematics and printed circuit board (PCB) designs.
  • Develop multilayer PCB layouts incorporating controlled impedance routing and blind micro-via technologies.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot signal integrity, crosstalk, and high-speed digital circuit performance.
  • Support the design and integration of processors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and System-on-Chip (SoC) technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to future technology development efforts.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of digital hardware design experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years of digital hardware design experience.
  • 8+ years of experience with schematic capture and electronic hardware development.
  • 8+ years of experience designing multilayer printed circuit boards with controlled impedance requirements.
  • 5+ years of experience performing signal integrity analysis, crosstalk analysis, and hardware verification.
  • 5+ years of experience working with microprocessors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and SoC architectures.
  • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and validating complex digital hardware designs.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience using Mentor Graphics or similar advanced PCB design tools.
  • High-reliability electronics, aerospace, defense, or space-program experience.
  • Experience performing worst-case analysis and stress analysis.
  • Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Ability to identify and implement innovative design solutions.
  • Experience working in research and development environments.
  • Interest in applying emerging technologies, including AI, to improve design processes and engineering efficiency.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
  • Overtime: May be required based on project schedules and business needs.
  • Workplace Options: On-site or Hybrid/Flex arrangements available.
  • Work Environment: Advanced engineering and R&D environment supporting sophisticated digital electronics and defense technologies.
  • Schedule: Flexible scheduling options may be available, including a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off.

  • Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret DoD Security clearance.
