Compensation: Starting at $2,500 per client per month, based on an expected 1215 hours of service per client. Compensation may increase based on client complexity, scope, and time commitment. We partner with nonprofits, foundations, and movement organizations to transform financial management from an administrative obligation into a strategic asset for mission-driven leadership. We believe finance should empower organizations and their leaders to make informed, compliant, and values-aligned decisions rooted in sound financial data and structured in strong financial practices. Through fractional CFO services, financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting, systems development, audit work, and leadership partnership, we help organizations strengthen their operations, make informed decisions, and plan confidently for the future. The Position We are seeking a Fractional CFO to partner with Movement CFO leadership in supporting our mission-driven clients. You will serve as a strategic financial partner to executive directors, CEOs, leadership teams, and boards, providing executive-level guidance across budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial reporting, scenario planning, risk management, funding strategy, and organizational growth. You will translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights that help clients strengthen their financial health, navigate complexity, and make informed decisions that support long-term sustainability and mission impact. Our ideal candidate is approachable, collaborative, adaptable, and highly self-directed, with the ability to make complex financial concepts accessible and relevant to organizational leaders. You understand the rapidly shifting financial realities of social justice work and are comfortable partnering with organizations at different stages of growth and change.
