Schedules:



  • 1st Shift | 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM | Monday - Friday
  • 3rd shift | 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM | Friday - Monday

Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training in Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Precision Machining, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Additional coursework in blueprint reading, GD&T, metrology, or quality systems is a plus.


Experience Requirements



  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, or Quality Operator in a machining, medical device, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience performing first article, in-process, final, and incoming inspections.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Experience using microscopes, CMMs, video measurement systems, optical comparators, height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Strong documentation, problem-solving, research, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of nonconformance reporting (NCRs), quality management systems (QMS), and continuous improvement practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to sit, stand, and perform detailed inspections for extended periods.
  • Strong visual acuity and attention to detail, including microscope work.
  • Ability to handle and inspect small precision components.
  • Capable of moving materials and performing light lifting as needed.


Job Duties



  • Perform first article, in-process, final, and incoming inspections to verify product quality and customer specifications.
  • Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation.
  • Review blueprints and inspection requirements to determine proper measuring methods and equipment.
  • Support production teams by providing timely inspections and assisting with quality-related issues.
  • Create inspection checklists and gather required documentation.
  • Process and document NCRs and assist with product disposition activities.
  • Maintain organized work areas, follow QMS procedures, and promote quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
