Position Summary:
The Treasury Management Sales Leader is primarily responsible for the Treasury Management sales activities across the enterprise footprint including development of new Treasury Management business, expansion of existing business relationships, and providing oversight for the servicing of Treasury Management customers. The individual is responsible for development of Treasury Management business plans including marketing strategies and sales objectives.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration or related field, or 4 years of directly related experience
7 years of experience in treasury management sales
5 years of sales leadership/supervisory experience
Proven track record of leading a Treasury Management Sales function to achieve and exceed targets
Strong knowledge and understanding of treasury management solutions, commercial banking products and payment systems, including but not limited to ACH, Remote Deposit Capture, Cash Management and other depository specific products and services
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
Developed cognitive skills to include effective Problem Solving, Innovative and Analytical Thinking, sound Decision Making and effective Organization and Planning
Developed intrapersonal skills to include Initiative, Resourcefulness, Tenacity and Follow-through
Developed interpersonal skills to include excellent Communication, Client Focus, Influence, Versatility and Collaboration

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Skills:
Master's degree in a business-related field
Graduate of Banking School
Professional certification such as Certified Treasury Professional or similar
Experience with CRM systems and sales performance analytical tools
Knowledge of regional market dynamics and business environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the Treasury Management sales function across the banks footprint to achieve sales targets and objectives fostering a high-performance culture
Work with Executive Management to develop annual Treasury Management revenue and expense budgets
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth and retention of existing portfolio
Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing customers
Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to achieve market penetration and revenue goals
Develop and implement retention strategies to safeguard existing revenue streams
Proactively address customer concerns and issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Monitor account performance and take corrective actions as needed to maintain strong client relationships
Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Financial Center Leaders and payments partners to identify cross-selling opportunities and enhance product offerings and ensure seamless delivery of treasury management solutions
Oversee account management activities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Monitor and analyze customer needs, providing tailored solutions to meet their Treasury Management requirements
Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth
Act as primary coordinator of Commercial Payment activities for market strategies including the creation and continuing evolution of the market plan
Partner with leaders across Treasury Management, Commercial Payments, Product and support organizations to ensure alignment and focus on customer success
Act as a liaison between Treasury Management customers, sales staff and bank operational support staff and provide assistance to ensure Treasury Management customer service needs are satisfied
Build and maintain internal relationships with commercial, retail and other line of business teams
Develop and maintain ongoing Treasury Management training for Treasury Management sales staff and bank employees
