What You'll Do:

As a Storeroom Coordinator, you will be responsible for the plant parts warehouse inventory. You will restock and organize warehouse inventory, update and create parts descriptions and stocking levels in SAP. Other duties include:

Assist in maintaining the plant parts system physical inventory

Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety. (Ensure SAO, JSA, Take 5's, stretching, and all safety rules are being completed.)

Ensure compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations.

  • Live and foster the Dyno Nobel Corporate Values

  • Performs P.O. checks using SAP to verify timely delivery of warehouse spare parts.

  • Ensures material received conforms to plant specifications.

  • Ability to perform warehouse coordinator duties in the event of warehouse coordinator absence.

  • Receives material deliveries to site and makes notifications, SAP entries, tags and stocks material as required.

  • Ensures that material received matches Purchase Order and meets requirements of plant specifications including those found in the Mechanical Integrity element of Process Safety Management and the Risk Management Program.

  • Maintains warehouse inventory system in SAP to ensure accuracy, consistency and current information.

  • Works with other Maintenance Group resources to solve parts problems through alternate sourcing, material selection and equipment design.

  • Works with equipment suppliers and plant personnel to resolve manufacturers' changes in parts design and materials of construction. May require use of blueprints, specification sheets, bills of material and other technical data.

  • Supports the site's Process Safety Management and Risk Management Program systems.

  • Issues Purchase Orders for necessary material and services to maintain repairable parts inventory.

  • Compiles and issues reports from SAP to monitor reliability, planning accuracy, Maintenance Department efficiency, etc.

We're Looking For:

  • Technical college or equivalent training in the equipment maintenance field or relevant plant experience is a plus

  • 2+ years' experience required in the area of general warehousing preferably with maintenance activities in a chemical plant environment.

  • Familiar with maintenance management systems for record keeping, parts requirements and inventory systems.

  • Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of plant equipment

  • Ability to work from blueprints and equipment drawings and other technical data

  • Ability to work with and around various chemicals, lubricants, and temperatures common to a chemical processing facility.

  • Documentation skills. SAP capability, computer literacy in Microsoft Office products especially Word and Excel

  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team player.
