Founded in 1947, the UC Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine is revolutionizing medicineby connecting discovery and education to world-class care in neurological diseases. Our vision is to be the model organization that integrates neurologic clinical care, research and education. The Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a full-time Program Director for the NIH-funded StrokeNet National Coordinating Center (NCC). The NIH StrokeNet is a national research network for phase II and III clinical trials that was created to advance acute stroke treatment, stroke prevention, and recovery and rehabilitation. This network of 27 regional centers across the U.S., which involves approximately 500 hospitals in the U.S., is designed to serve as the infrastructure and pipeline for exciting new potential treatments for patients with stroke and those at risk for stroke. As the Program Director at the NCC, the candidate will facilitate several projects and administrative processes for this unique network. The Program Director will work directly with NCC leadership and network investigators across the country. The appropriate candidate should have extensive program management experience, with preferred experience in research programs. This is a fully remote position. Essential Functions
