Division of Animal Sciences Job Description
The Senior Scientist will provide scientific and technical leadership in the development, optimization, and application of advanced reproductive and genome editing technologies in both swine and cattle. This position is responsible for designing, executing, and managing research projects focused on the production of genetically modified cells, embryos, and animals while improving the efficiency of technology associated with the animal production. This position supports daily laboratory operations, research activities, and training efforts to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality research outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $60,944.00 - $112,320.00 per year Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
