Your Job

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support the global Copper Solutions business unit through monthly reporting, forecasting, annual planning, and financial analysis that help drive business decisions. You'll play a key role in the monthly close and flash processes, perform variance analysis, and provide insight into R&D, SG&A, and overall business unit performance. Working across finance, operations, product management, and other cross-functional teams, you'll help translate financial results into meaningful recommendations for leadership. This role offers broad exposure to the business and the opportunity to contribute to a high-growth organization supporting the expanding AI market.

This role is hybrid (4 days in office/week) and will be based out of our Lisle headquarters.

Our Team

Copper Solutions is part of Molex's Data Solutions & Services (DSS) segment, which is experiencing significant growth as demand for AI and data center infrastructure continues to expand. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a business at the center of that growth while gaining broad exposure to leaders and teams across the organization. You will join a collaborative group responsible for business unit reporting, forecasting, planning, and performance analysis. The team partners closely with manufacturing finance, shared finance functions, operations, marketing, and product management to provide insights that support business decisions and long-term growth.

What You Will Do

  • Own monthly reporting and executive commentary - explain results, variances and trends in clear business terms for BU and segment leadership
  • Lead assigned workstreams within the forecast and annual planning cycles, including bridging versions and quantifying the drivers behind the change
  • Partner with product management and operations to analyze profitability, cost and pricing dynamics, and translate those findings into recommendations
  • Build and improve the models, templates and reporting used by the team - with a bias toward automation and fewer manual touches
  • Work with accounting and plant finance to ensure results are accurate, well understood and supportable
  • Support ad hoc analysis for leadership on new programs, investments and business questions as they arise

What You Will Bring

  • Strong analytical judgment - be able to translate analysis into a clear recommendation
  • Clear, concise communication with both finance and non-finance audiences
  • Ownership mindset: organized, deadline-driven and accountable for quality without close supervision
  • Comfort with change, competing priorities and evolving processes in a fast-moving business
  • A collaborative working approach and genuine interest in improving how work gets done
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
  • Experience in financial analysis, FP&A or accounting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large data sets

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Three or more years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A or accounting
  • Experience supporting a mid-to-large manufacturing organization or global business unit
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, OneStream or similar ERP/EPM systems
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query or other data visualization and automation tools
  • A track record of process improvement or automation that measurably saved time or improved accuracy
