What to Expect
As the
Operational Lead, Parts Pricing - Latin America, you'll be at the forefront of building and executing a scalable, data-driven parts pricing and logistics framework across emerging markets in South America. You'll partner with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure pricing accuracy, cost efficiency, and seamless execution ahead of new country launches.
This position can sit in Palo Alto, CA; Fremont, CA or Austin, TX
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end strategy for parts pricing, benchmarking, and cost modeling across LATAM markets, including new country rollouts
- Own daily part price validation and escalation processes - ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with global standards across all vehicle models (including upcoming platforms)
- Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to calculate and track unit costs (shipping, freight, storage, material) and deliver actionable margin analysis
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on parts pricing processes, driving continuous improvement, automation, and quality standards
- Collaborate with local warehousing, logistics, and regional teams to optimize pricing models based on real-time market dynamics, including exchange rates, tariffs, and local regulations
- Conduct market intelligence research to inform pricing strategies, including competitive benchmarking, tax implications, and regional economic trends
- Champion data-driven decision-making using advanced Excel, Power Query, and Python-based analytics to model pricing scenarios and forecast impacts
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience in pricing, supply chain, or operations
- Prior experience in parts pricing, inventory management, or operations within a high-growth or automotive technology environment - Tesla experience is a strong plus
- Proven leadership in process optimization, team coaching, and project execution across complex, cross-functional environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, data modeling) and experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, or ML frameworks) for data analysis and automation
- Conversational or fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese (written and spoken); ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across LATAM
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including physical tasks such as handling parts (up to 50 lbs.) during site visits or audits

Expected Compensation
$72,000 - $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
