Position Title: Machine Operator Helper
Wage: $18/hour Shift: 3rd Hours: 8:00pm-6:00am Monday-Thursday We are currently seeking candidates for an entry-level Machine Operator Helper position in Kansas City, MO. Whether you have years of experience or are just getting started in the light industrial field, this employer provides hands-on training to help you succeed. Machine Operator Helper Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Feed large cardboard sheets into machines and receive finished cardboard products in stack - Inspect top piece and discard inspected piece; notify Supervisor if piece doesn't meet quality standards - Verify the size of the cardboard is to specification and cross train in all areas - Scrap excess cardboard as applicable - General maintenance and cleaning of work area Machine Operator Helper Requirements: - Previous manual labor experience is a must - Routinely lift up to 50 pounds and multi-task to keep up with tight production schedules - Stand for entire shift in a non-climate-controlled environment and extremely fast paced environment - Ability to read and comprehend written, oral, and graphic form of instructions - Ability to read a tape measure - Basic math skills required - Strong attention to detail - Strong work ethics and excellent attendance will be the key to long-term success QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
