What You'll Do
- Build and maintain dashboards to track North America Field Service KPIs - scheduling, availability, backlog, customer satisfaction, productivity, and revenue - using Excel or internal Tesla tools. Include Robotaxi service metrics (fleet readiness, technician efficiency, service cycle times) as part of the same operating picture
- Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities across Field Service and Robotaxi operations
- Support scheduling and appointment availability: shop loading, production planning, open capacity, and mobile service response across North America
- Help manage backlog: aging work, days until next available appointment (DUNAA), work-in-progress, and recovery plans with regional teams
- Track and help improve customer satisfaction, including drivers of CSAT and follow-through with the field
- Support productivity and revenue initiatives (labor productivity, cars per technician, throughput vs. demand, and related commercial outcomes)
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine operational documents, workflows, and process standards for Field Service and Robotaxi service
- Conduct time studies and process reviews to evaluate efficiency and recommend improvements for service centers, mobile, and Robotaxi maintenance operations
- Occasionally travel to field locations in the Austin area to validate processes, gather feedback, and support on-ground implementation
- Work cross-functionally with Collision, Sales, and Delivery so service planning, capacity, and customer experience stay aligned across the journey - not only within Service

- Basic AI skills: comfortable using AI tools (for example Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to draft, analyze, summarize, and speed up day-to-day work
- Background in operations, project management, or a related field. Interest in autonomous vehicle / Robotaxi operations is a plus, not a requirement
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic environment spanning Field Service and Robotaxi
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams (e.g., service, operations, sales, delivery)
- Willingness to work overnight shifts (less than 5% of the time) for time studies and operational analysis
- Willingness to occasionally travel within the Austin area to field locations. Travel outside Austin / across North America is not expected
