Union Area School District is located in Lawrence County and made up of Union Township and the Independent District of Edinburg.

The Union Area School District is a school community that supports the education of its youth. The goals of the district are to provide academic, social, emotional, physical, and developmental growth; to develop each students full potential in a positive learning experience; and to provide a smooth transition from elementary, middle, and high school and ultimately in preparation for life-long learning.
We are proud to say that we accomplish these goals through the many programs and activities offered to our students by a dedicated faculty and staff we provide for our students in the Union Area School District.
