Shared Services: Printing Services- (Full-Time, Day Shift) - Job Summary: The Textbook Representative serves as the primary liaison between academic programs, faculty, students, and the University's textbook provider to ensure the timely and accurate adoption, ordering, and delivery of required course materials. Coordinates textbook and course material requests, monitors compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements, assists with issue resolution, and supports the successful operation of the University's textbook adoption and distribution processes. Works closely with academic departments to ensure students have access to required materials in a timely and cost-effective manner. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Minimum one year of administrative, retail services, textbook management, bookstore operations, academic support, or related experience required. Previous experience coordinating textbook adoptions, course materials, bookstore operations, or higher education support services preferred. Experience working with faculty, academic departments, or educational vendors preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn and utilize textbook management systems, online ordering platforms, and database applications. Ability to prepare reports, maintain records, and analyze operational data. Strong organizational and administrative skills.Ability to interact professionally and effectively with faculty, students, administrators, vendors, and staff. Strong customer service orientation. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and organizational levels. Ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and professionalism. Read, write legibly, and speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
