Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $20.00/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 12-Hour Days or 12-Hour Nights Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm (Monday-Friday), 2:00pm-10:00pm (Monday-Friday), 10:00pm-6:00am (Sunday-Thursday), 6:00am-6:00pm or 6:00pm-6:00am (2-2-3 Schedule) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification - Inspect machinery, equipment, and tooling prior to set-up; identify issues which adversely affect product requirements - Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution - Ensure part quality meets established standards and follow Good Manufacturing Practices - Complete shift documentation/paperwork - Go over job status and updates with incoming shift - Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures, and wear appropriate PPE Requirements for Machine Operator: - Lift up to 10 pounds continuously (cases of product and hand tools) - Lift 11-30 pounds regularly (3-4 times per shift) - Lift 31-50 pounds occasionally (1-2 pounds per shift) - Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and stand for long periods of time - Ability to work in warm environments - 1 year of manufacturing or related experience - Mechanical aptitude - Ability to read, write, and speak English to meet training, safety, and quality requirements - Basic math skills - Computer and software skills IND035 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
