Sr Loan Analyst - Cash Management

The Opportunity

The Senior Loan Analyst will help collect, analyze, and disseminate loan and sale referrals through internal servicing data base and external sources to the mortgage banking and investment sales network.

What it takes to be successful in this role

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • One to three years prior experience in a similar position


  • Review and approve drafts of lockbox agreements from originated loans, coordinate opening accounts (with appropriate software access) required by agreements, and establish procedures for processing in accordance with the documents; delegating monthly responsibilities to Special Loan Analysts as needed.
  • Review new cash management agreements for acquired loans, coordinate opening accounts (with appropriate software access) or coordinate establishing control/access to existing accounts from previous servicer, and establish procedures for processing in accordance with the documents; delegating monthly responsibilities to Special Loan Analysts.
  • Review daily work, assist and train Special Loan Analysts.
  • Process daily sweep transfers from lockboxes. (import balance, create and send NACHA file, distribute spreadsheets).
  • Special projects and consultations with other departments as needed in connection with Servicing Accounting involvement in cash management restrictions within loan documents.
  • Perform responsibilities of Special Loan Analyst for deals requiring special attention.
  • Review and Quality Control the daily workflow waterfall accounting reporting.
  • Provide the Analysts in India with the initial training on processing the Waterfall Accounting reporting and periodic updates of the cash management process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
