Job Description

Elwyn is seeking a Senior Marketing & Communications Business Partner to provide strategic marketing leadership for assigned service lines, while supervising two MarCom Business Partners.

This role serves as a senior advisor to organizational leaders, oversees enterprise internal communications, prioritizes marketing initiatives, and ensures integrated campaigns align with organizational priorities, brand standards, and business goals.

This role partners closely with the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications, members of the MarCom team, and executive leadership to develop measurable communications strategies that strengthen Elwyn's reputation and advance its mission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the strategy, planning, editorial calendar, and execution of enterprise internal communications.
  • Advise executives on change communications, leadership messaging, and employee engagement.
  • Develop communication plans supporting organizational initiatives and culture.
  • Directly supervise two MarCom Business Partners through coaching, workload management, and performance development.
  • Prioritize projects across service lines and allocate resources to meet organizational goals.
  • Ensure marketing plans are strategically aligned and consistently executed.
  • Serve as senior marketing consultant to assigned departments and executive leaders.
  • Develop integrated marketing and communications plans spanning digital, print, social media, media relations, events, recruitment, and internal communications.
  • Provide strategic messaging guidance and ensure brand consistency.
  • Support enterprise campaigns including strategic initiatives, growth efforts, fundraising, recruitment, and executive communications.
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements using analytics and stakeholder feedback.
  • Identify emerging communications opportunities and support continuous improvement across the MarCom function.
  • Support additional strategic initiatives as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible marketing and communications experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience developing integrated marketing strategies and advising senior leadership.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and project prioritization skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and executive communication abilities.
  • Strategic planning, change management, and stakeholder engagement expertise.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, brand management, internal communications, and analytics.
  • Ability to influence without authority and build collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Commitment to mission-driven communications and continuous improvement.
