About this job The Senior Metallurgical Engineer serves as the subject matter expert for metallic materials selection and characterization, corrosion evaluation, and metallurgical performance improvement across the Completions and Well Intervention product portfolio, including fishing and intervention tools. This role provides technical leadership supporting product development, sustaining engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, supply chain, and customer-facing activities. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in oilfield metallurgy, materials selection, corrosion mitigation, and industry standards governing downhole equipment. The role requires strong collaboration across functions and includes mentoring and technical leadership of junior metallurgical engineers through a dotted-line structure. The Senior Metallurgical Engineer will also serve as the primary metallurgical interface for internal business partners, suppliers, and customers.
