Join our smart and dedicated team as we work to advance and operate energy systems and apply for our Electrical Designer II position. Provide electrical systems design services for electrical systems connected to systems operated and managed by Ever-Green Energy, as well as other systems supported by Ever-Green Energy under direct supervision and instruction of the Sr. Electrical Engineer, other engineers, and the Design Services Manager. Utilizing a basic understanding of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Structural Engineering, as well as Architectural construction practices, the Electrical Designer plays a key role in the successful execution of electrical and mechanical projects. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Design Services, this individual will provide technical engineering services contributing to the successful delivery of work to internal and external clients. The designer will be part of the System Development Group (SDG) which provides engineering, design, and planning services for the various systems that Ever-Green Energy supports. The SDG is a multi-disciplinary group of engineers and designers working together in a dynamic team environment through proactive and collaborative working environment. The Designer will support the SDG teams by providing high quality deliverables and support that meet critical parameters and expectations that lead to high customer and client satisfaction. The employee is frequently required to climb ramps/stairs; peripheral vision by observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point; and standing/walking. The employee occasionally is required to climb ladders/ropes/scaffolding; crawling; crouching, far visual acuity of vision at 20 feet or more; kneeling; lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.; reaching at/below shoulder level by extending hand and arms from 0 up to 150 degrees in a vertical arc; reaching overhead by extending hands and arms in a 150 to 180 degrees vertical arc; stooping; and confined space with limited entry or exit. Must be capable of maneuvering throughout industrial facilities such as energy plants and building HVAC mechanical rooms, etc. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee works the majority of their time in an office environment; however, may be required to perform some duties in steam or chilled water plants. While performing these duties, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, dust, fumes, high pressure steam, and high temperatures, and hazards associated with moving machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Personal Protective Equipment will be provided to the employee as needed. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $81,375 to $90,825.
