Location: Fife, WA

Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, with some weekend work during peak periods. Start times vary and begin at 7:00 PM or later.

Candidates must be flexible, as shifts can range from 5-8 hours depending on daily mail volume.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

• Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
• At least 6 months of warehouse experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple warehouse duties
• Must be able to pass a written forklift exam and forklift driving test

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack Gaylords and mail throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks for delivery
• Inspect shipments before loading and unloading
• Assist with manual material handling and unloading products by hand as needed
• Sort and process mail
• Perform general warehouse duties as assigned
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with leads and team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
