At Together for Youth, we believe meaningful change starts with strong relationships.

As a Licensed Clinician, you'll work directly with children, youth and families to help them navigate challenges, build on their strengths and make progress toward the goals that matter to them.

Your work will combine evidence-based clinical practice with community-based support. You'll assess needs, develop individualized treatment plans, provide individual and family counseling, and help young people develop the skills and supports they need to succeed at home and in their communities.

This is an opportunity for a licensed clinician who wants to do more than provide therapy from an office. You'll build relationships with youth and families where they are, understand the bigger picture of their lives and help turn clinical goals into meaningful, everyday progress.

• Build meaningful relationships with youth and families. Create a safe, supportive environment where children, youth and families can identify challenges, recognize strengths and work toward meaningful goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans. Use evidence-based assessment tools and clinical judgment to complete comprehensive assessments and create treatment plans responsive to each child and family.
• Provide trauma-informed clinical care. Facilitate individual and family counseling and therapeutic groups using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.
• Help young people build skills that last. Work with children and youth to develop practical skills connected to their treatment goals and greater independence, stability and well-being.
• Support the whole family. Help families understand and respond to behavioral health needs while strengthening the relationships and supports surrounding the child.
• Bring services into the community. Meet children and families where services can have the greatest impact through a community-based approach to care.
• Connect clinical care with everyday life. Provide skill-building, case management and psychiatric supports that help youth and families put treatment goals into practice.
• Provide CFTSS and CORE services. Deliver services consistent with identified treatment needs, medical necessity requirements and applicable program standards.
• Keep quality at the center. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and ensure services meet agency, regulatory and payer requirements.
• Work as part of a larger team. Collaborate with families, colleagues, providers and community partners to create coordinated support around each child.

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or a related clinical field.
• Current New York State professional license as an LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or LMFT.
• At least two years of post-licensure child welfare experience.
• Experience providing clinical services to children, youth and families.
• Understanding of trauma-informed, evidence-based and family-centered approaches to care.
• Ability and willingness to provide services in community-based settings.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

• A clinical approach that recognizes the strengths of children and families, not just the challenges they are facing.
• The ability to build trust with young people and families from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
• Comfort balancing clinical judgment, documentation, regulatory requirements and the realities of community-based work.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility and creativity when traditional approaches aren't enough.
• A willingness to meet families where they are - both literally and figuratively.
• A commitment to helping children and families develop skills and supports that continue beyond treatment.

Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Evening availability is expected based on the needs and schedules of the children and families we serve.

You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and families, provide care beyond the traditional office setting and see how clinical work translates into change in a young person's everyday life.

You won't simply develop treatment plans. You'll help children and families turn those plans into progress.

Our compensation structure recognizes your post-licensure child welfare experience:

$75,500 annually - 2+ years of post-license child welfare experience

$79,000 annually - 5+ years of post-license child welfare experience
