Summary


The Marketing Intern will support Dunmore's external marketing, digital communications, sales enablement, and internal communications initiatives. This hands-on role provides exposure to marketing within a global manufacturing organization, including content development, digital marketing, brand communications, market research, and employee communications.



The intern will collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams to develop content and marketing materials that strengthen Dunmore's brand, support business development, communicate the value of Dunmore's products and capabilities, and engage employees across the organization.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Develop written, visual, and digital content for Dunmore's website, social media, email campaigns, presentations, SharePoint, digital signage, and other marketing and communication channels.
  • Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support email campaign development, content management, audience segmentation, scheduling, and review of campaign performance.
  • Create branded graphics, product visuals, photography, and short-form video content using Canva or similar design and content-creation tools.
  • Support website updates and development of customer-facing sales and marketing materials, including product flyers, presentations, case studies, and application-focused content.
  • Collaborate with employees and subject matter experts to gather information and develop customer-facing technical content, company stories, and internal employee communications.
  • Conduct basic market, competitor, and industry research to support marketing, content development, and business development initiatives.
  • Support trade shows, company events, and marketing campaigns through development and coordination of collateral, presentations, signage, and digital content.
  • Contribute to internal communications supporting employee engagement, company culture, continuous improvement, safety, and other organizational priorities.
  • Track basic marketing and communication metrics and assist in identifying opportunities to improve content and audience engagement.
  • Explore responsible uses of Company-approved AI and digital tools to support research, content development, and marketing workflow efficiency in accordance with Company policy.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:



  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Passion for storytelling through words and visuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SharePoint or other intranet platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of social media management, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate and execute innovative ideas.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of communication strategies and best practices.



Education and Experience



  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Coursework or experience in marketing, content creation, social media, graphic design, photography, video production, or related communications activities preferred.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar marketing and content-creation platforms is a plus.
