The 96th Cybersecurity Test Group at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida has an exciting opportunity for an SE-2 Data Analyst.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

SECURITY CLEARANCE:Able to obtain/maintain Top Secret Clearance - U.S. Citizenship Required

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field with 0-3 years of xperience. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Ability to interface with prime contractors developing the system under test (SUT) regarding test objectives, schedules, budgets, and methods of test
• Ability to perform modeling and simulation tasks utilizing C++, Python, CAMEO and MATLAB Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team and to lead and direct the work of others
• Effective oral and written communications skills including technical writing
• Proficiency in the use and integration of MS Office applications

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS

• BS degree in computer science or mathematics
• Experience with modern C software development, including C++, Python, R, SQL, CAMEO and MATLAB/Simulink and other data visualization and computational tools
• Experience with Agile Software Development, and / or Agile Software test and evaluation
• Final Adjudicated SECRET security clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides test data reduction assistance to Test Engineers and frequently serves as a technical assistant for the entire portfolio of the 96 CTG including Air Operations Command and Control Systems Test, Space, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Command and Control Test, Mission Planning Systems Test, Defense Business Systems Test, and Cyber Test Range Test among others
• Aids Test Managers with technical data reduction, manipulation, and analysis. Conducts data analysis and applies knowledge of engineering technology under the direction of engineering staff
• These tasks include test and evaluation, test support, operations analyses, technical studies, and various analyses and activities utilizing raw data generated by models and simulations, as well as data sources of collected processed output and finished to support test planning, execution, and reporting
• Assist in system assessment and testing
• Assist in data reduction and compilation of modeling, simulation products, and data analysis in preparation for test events.
• Assist in verification and validation of test models
• Assist in utilization of cutting-edge modeling and simulation tools and algorithms to help address some of the most challenging issues across all squadron programs ranging from business practices and process models to Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML) and automated testing of Intelligence and Space Command and control programs
• Assist in the data reduction of code and scripts to build algorithms, perform analyses, and automate data processing to model scenarios for system evaluation and mission effectiveness
• Work with spreadsheets, pivot tables and other products to produce finished test data to determine suitability and effectiveness of the entire 96 CTG test portfolio
• Provide critical assistance in a collaborative team environment studying and analyzing a wide variety of interesting and complex problems in the Group's diverse Developmental Test and Evaluation portfolio
• Supports Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) assisting in the development of system requirements, performance measures, test phase entry/exit criteria, and analysis of test design constraints functional capabilities, and metrics
• Supports senior engineers when interacting with System Program Offices, other services, and developmental contractors
• Part of a test team that prepares, executes, reviews, and analyzes test plans, procedures, metrics, and reports throughout the software development life cycle
• Assists with test cases, test objectives & procedures, technical reports, analysis and reviews of requirements, and other test process documents as required in the conduct of testing
• Coordinates schedules, pre-and post-test activities, logistics of test planning, and test reports
