Finance Director

General Financial Control is responsible for directing the organization's accounting functions and areas of focus include:

• Accounts payable, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Developing and maintaining planning and budgeting systems, the preparation of financial and management reports and procedures, and the presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management.
• Analyzing and interpreting trends requiring management's attention.
• Duties may also include training and managing other accounting staff A Management 3 manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.
• Responsibilities typically include: Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less).
• Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex.
• Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.
• CPA required.
• Travel to San Jose, CA to secondary office required 25%
