Security Officer Morning Shift Hours

As a Security Officer in Janesville, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a retail location, you will help manage entry procedures, verify badges and visitor access, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service. Using computer or tablet tools, you will support security-related operations, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to retail store clients, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, receiving areas, sales-floor access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
