  • As a Senior Analyst, Pricing / Finance, you will play a key role in helping the organization make informed pricing, underwriting, and risk management decisions. By analyzing healthcare and insurance data, you will provide the insights needed to assess product performance, evaluate financial risk, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and drive business growth.
  • Your work will directly influence pricing strategies, renewal decisions, portfolio management, and operational planning. Through data-driven analysis and collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams, you will transform complex information into actionable recommendations that support both short-term performance and long-term business objectives.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing models that support healthcare and insurance product evaluations, renewals, and portfolio management.
  • Analyze claims experience, utilization patterns, enrollment trends, demographics, and financial performance to influence pricing and business decisions.
  • Evaluate pricing assumptions and identify opportunities to improve profitability, performance, and risk outcomes.
  • Support underwriting reviews and risk assessment activities by providing data-driven analysis and recommendations.
  • Create recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and performance metrics that provide meaningful business insights.
  • Conduct financial modeling, trend analysis, and risk evaluations to support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and Excel capabilities to transform complex datasets into actionable information.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams to support decision-making and business performance objectives.
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and scalability.

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • 4-5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, pricing, underwriting, risk management, financial analysis, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, complex formulas, and financial modeling.
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into meaningful business insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex analyses to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of healthcare economics, claims analytics, healthcare reimbursement, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar analytical and reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting pricing, underwriting, or actuarial functions.
  • Experience developing dashboards, performance metrics, and business intelligence reporting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance products, portfolio analysis, and financial forecasting.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvement or automation opportunities.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000.

Actual compensation is based on experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and the comprehensive benefits outlined in the My Total Value section. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) program, and bonus opportunities.
