We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our client's Patient Access Services team. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and supportive admissions and registration process, directly impacting patient satisfaction and the overall effectiveness of healthcare delivery. To be considered for this role, you must:



  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
  • Be flexible to work on a rotating shift basis including weekends. Shifts will start as early as 7:00 AM and as late as 7:00 PM.


What You'll Do

As a key member of the Patient Access Services team, you will be instrumental in ensuring patients have a seamless and positive experience from their very first interaction. You will manage crucial administrative functions that support patient care, contribute to efficient operations, and uphold the highest standards of customer service.



  • Securely handle and accurately record patient payments collected at the point of service.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of diverse health insurance coverage options, related processes, and procedures.
  • Address routine patient inquiries and concerns, adeptly performing service recovery as needed.
  • Escalate complex registration issues to senior team members for resolution.
  • Warmly greet patients and initiate the registration process, maintaining professional communication with various healthcare team members, physicians, guests, and patients through telephone, email, and in-person contact.
  • Achieve weekly individual productivity targets and key performance indicators as established by department leadership.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all individuals encountered.
  • Perform a combination of responsibilities across all areas of Patient Access Service operations.


What You'll Bring

Must-Have Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at a level appropriate for the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software relevant to administrative functions.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology, including common insurance types such as Medicare, Medi-Cal, Workers' Compensation, Managed Care (HMO, PPO, POS), and various health programs.

  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is highly preferred.
