Requisition Summary

PACCAR Parts is seeking a strategic, skilled manager to lead a team responsible for advancing product data quality and market intelligence. This role combines people leadership with program execution to support parts sales by improving product cross-references, attributes, digital assets, data mapping, and systems integration.

The manager will lead cross-functional initiatives, establish and enforce data standards, resolve data quality issues, and deliver measurable business results. Using tools such as Python, Snowflake, Tableau, and generative AI, this role will monitor product data health and provide actionable insights into industry trends, competitive activity, and market positioning.


Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Leads Product Information Management (PIM) system ownership, including product data lifecycle management, system enhancements, and data quality.
  • Develops and maintains the Product Data Standards Guide, defining requirements for launching parts on e-commerce sites, formatting product data, and ensuring data completeness.
  • Embeds SEO best practices into data governance rules by establishing and enforcing naming conventions and keyword requirements that maximize search discoverability.
  • Collaborates with Product Marketing teams and suppliers to improve product data quality.
  • Creates, monitors, and enforces data quality audits to proactively identify inconsistencies and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Monitors data health dashboards to assess completeness and accuracy, prioritizing remediation efforts and enhancements based on findings.
  • Serves as the final quality gatekeeper for product data, providing analysts with specific feedback to correct errors at the source before publication.
  • Develops and leverages generative AI to create data visualizations, executive summaries, dashboards, and infographics that provide sales and marketing leaders with actionable market insights.
  • Monitors industry news and collaborates with global partners to maintain accurate PACCAR competitive analyses.
  • Leads process improvement initiatives across product data management and market intelligence.
  • Leads, coaches, and develops a team of product and market data professionals by establishing priorities, assigning resources, managing performance, and fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 7 Years of relevant work experience required.
  • Previous supervision or management expereince required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing product data lifecycles within a Product Information Management (PIM) or similar system.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing data quality audits and establishing data governance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience using Snowflake to query, transform, and validate large data sets, automate workflows, and streamline quality-control processes.
  • Ability to build and interpret Tableau dashboards to monitor, analyze, and report data health metrics.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, including applying keyword strategies to product titles and attribute structures.
  • Strong experience analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and key business drivers to inform business strategy.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data sets into clear, actionable executive summaries and presentations.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional business environment.
  • Able to travel up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Python libraries, such as Pandas, for complex data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with regular expressions (Regex) for pattern matching and complex data validation.
  • Experience using machine learning or generative AI tools for content generation, data standardization, or attribute enrichment.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related technical field required
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field preferred

Salary Range:

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $119,100.00 - $168,300.00 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
