Salary/Grade: NEX/11

Target hiring range for this position will be between be range is as be $19.89-$28.40 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Summary:

Provides data management support for patient-oriented clinical research studies. Coordinates data collection and management in accordance with departmental research objectives. This role serves as a liaison between the clinical research team, internal departments, external sponsors, and regulatory entities.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assists with data aggregation and reporting for grants, publications, or to satisfy regulatory requirements. Collects and interprets subject data from medical records or other source documents. Enters/records and submits subject data to study sponsors, resolves data queries, and verifies accuracy of data
  • Maintains system for controlling documentation flow for protocols, including but not limited to, medical records, laboratory and pathology information, regulatory documents and case report forms
  • Enters required data into data controls systems
  • Assists with protocol updates, audits, and data file preparation
  • Performs quality checks
  • Participates in data review meetings as required by the department. Collaborates with members of multidisciplinary teams
  • Assists with Case Report Form (CRF) and related document development
  • Analyzes protocols during development to determine data capture needs and contributes to protocol document development
  • Assists with training of new Clinical Trials Data Specialists

Miscellaneous

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred
  • Experience working in the health care field with knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • 1 year of experience in clinical research trials-oncology preferred (hard to get 1 year experience in entry level role, out of High School)
