Customer Service Representative - Chelmsford, MA

Dielectric Sciences is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chelmsford, MA. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who enjoys working with customers and collaborating with internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

The Customer Service Representative will serve as an important point of contact for customers, providing responsive and professional support throughout the order process. The position works closely with Sales, Production, Engineering, Shipping and Accounting to communicate customer requirements and help resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner
• Enter, process, and monitor customer orders from receipt through shipment
• Provide customers with order status, pricing, lead-time, and shipping information
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements and delivery commitments are met
• Address order changes, discrepancies, and customer concerns and communicate appropriate solutions
• Maintain accurate customer, order, and shipping information in company systems
• Assist with quotations, order documentation, and other administrative customer-service activities
• Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers
• Identify potential issues and communicate them proactively to customers and internal teams
• Manage the export control process to ensure trade compliance with international customers

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service, order entry, sales support, or administrative experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
• Experience with an ERP or order-management system is a plus
• Manufacturing or technical industry experience is helpful but not required
