Department of Student Affairs University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine Job Description
The department of Student Affairs at the UMKC School of Medicine is seeking an experienced Office Support Assistant IV to assist with a variety of duties, including those related to the elective program, event and ceremony support, and general tasks related to office and student support. This position will interface with members of the School of Medicine and affiliate hospitals (University Health, Children's Mercy Hospital, St. Luke's Hospital, KCVA, Mosaic Life Care) and will be responsible for detailed clerical and administrative tasks requiring a high degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced academic environment. This position is fully on-site and requires attendance at the designated work location five days per week. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties will center around event space coordination/reservation, faculty and student invitations, event script preparation, catering arrangements, cap and gown management Support for other office or academic needs:
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications

Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $16.00 - $19.00 per hour. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
