Position Title: Line Operator
Wage: $20.00 - $21.00/hour Shift: 1st or 3rd Hours: 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday) or 11:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday - Thursday) Don't miss this great opportunity in Waupun, WI! Line Operator Responsibilities: - Set up and operate restrike presses, steam treaters, and oil impregnators - Perform visual and dimensional inspections using various measuring tools - Troubleshoot and perform appropriate maintenance of the equipment by observation and general cleaning - Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications - Follow safety, quality, and environmental policies - Record production and inspection data - Load, unload and operate overhead hoists and conveyors - Load, unload and operate steam treaters and oil impregnators - Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance - Support continuous improvement and training efforts Requirements for Line Operator: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred - At least one year of related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals - Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
