PACU RN

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The PACU RN will be responsible for monitoring patients as they recover from anesthesia, ensuring their comfort and safety during the post-operative period. The role requires close attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to any changes in a patient's condition.

• Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their level of consciousness post-surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
• Provide post-operative care and pain management.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ensure a safe and clean recovery environment.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly.

• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Previous PACU experience is required.
• Ability to work 5 - 8 hour shifts, plus on-call as needed.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
