As a Software Engineer, Staff, you will:

Develop software for aircraft autopilots and associated avionics systems.
• Participate in ground and flight testing of the developed systems.

A week in the life of a Software Engineer, Staff, includes:

• Design, develop, document, test and debug software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions for aircraft autopilots and associated avionics.
• Work with systems engineers, aerospace engineers, electrical engineers, developers and others to develop fully digital autpilot systems.
• Develop Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) as part of our simlation and System Integration Lab environments.
• Develop software using C/C++ and the Qt framework.
• Develop avionics software in a hard real-time environment.
• Develop avionics software in accordance with DO-178C.

• BS Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience with C/C++ and Qt
• Minimum of 1 years of related work experience in the field of aircraft avionics
• Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
