Conduct testing for thickness, basis weight, fiber diameter, fiber index, friability, crystallinity, tensile strength, and compression. Provide production support, including relief for End of Line operators and assistance with needle board rebuilding and refurbishment Audit production lines and product quality while communicating test results and sorting requirements with production teams. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; complete shift turnover reports and accurately enter test results into electronic systems. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, quality control, inspection, or production environment. What Sets You Apart: Associate Degree Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, the ability to learn and access information through computer databases, and the ability to read simple gauges and follow work instructions. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check. Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs., be able to handle repetitive stair and ladder climbing, and work successfully in team environment. Tools and equipment used: Fork truck, computer, wet scrubber, furnaces, small hand tools, carton sealer, stapler, carton erector, tape gun, stretch wrapper, power washer, etc. Facilities Used: Electricity, water, compressed air, steam, LP gas, etc. Materials Used: Ceramic Fiber mixes, cutters, bags, stretch wrap, hand tools.
