Nursing Unit Secretaries:

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time NUS position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Remote:On-site only (no remote flexibility)

As a Nursing Unit Secretary, you'll play an important role in supporting our nurses, providers, patients, and families while helping keep the unit organized and running smoothly. From coordinating communication and managing important information to supporting the day-to-day operations of the unit, your work makes a difference in the care our patients receive.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.
3. Experience: One year of hospital or health care setting preferred.

The pay range for this position is $19.10to $22.53 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
