Phlebotomist I Location: 3800 Reservoir Road NW, 3rd Floor, Washington, DC 20007 Duration: 3 months Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM-6:00 PM Type: Full-Time \| Onsite Job Overview We are seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team at a busy patient service center in Washington, DC. The selected candidate will work as part of a team of phlebotomists and will be responsible for patient registration, blood collection, and specimen processing. Candidates should have experience working with both pediatric and geriatric patients and be comfortable working in a fast-paced patient environment. Key Responsibilities Perform blood draws on patients across pediatric and geriatric age groups Register patients and collect required patient information Process and prepare patient specimens accurately Ensure proper specimen identification, handling, and processing Provide professional and courteous customer service to patients Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the collection process Work effectively as part of a team with other phlebotomists Follow all applicable safety and specimen-handling procedures Work in a patient-facing environment with approximately 6 other phlebotomists Requirements High School Diploma/GED 0-2 years of phlebotomy experience Experience performing blood draws Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients Specimen processing experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working in a fast-paced patient environment Color vision is required Required Compliance Hepatitis B TB MMR Tdap Varicella Flu vaccination COVID vaccination THC screening: Not required Required Testing: N/A Training Training details will be provided as part of the onboarding process based on the requirements of the patient service center.
