THE ROLE:

The Logistics Technician supports the safe, accurate, and timely flow of materials through a warehouse and logistics environment. In this role, you will work closely with warehouse colleagues, team leads, management, internal business partners, and carriers to receive, store, organize, pick, pack, and dispatch goods. You will gain hands-on experience with inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and warehouse equipment while helping the team maintain high standards for safety, quality, accuracy, and on-time execution. THE PERSON:

You are safety-minded, dependable, and organized, with strong attention to detail and a practical approach to solving day-to-day logistics issues. You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and leaders. You are comfortable managing routine warehouse responsibilities while responding to changing priorities, time-sensitive requests, and inventory discrepancies. You also understand the importance of accurate records, proper material handling, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, inspect, store, pick, pack, stage, and dispatch goods accurately and according to schedule.

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, verifying item identity, quantity, condition, and supporting documentation.

• Perform inventory cycle counts and support reconciliation activities to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Identify damaged, missing, misplaced, or surplus goods and promptly report discrepancies or issues to the supervisor or team lead.

• Follow established material-handling, quality, security, and safety procedures.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with site procedures and applicable authorization requirements.

• Perform routine pre-use equipment checks and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including aisles, staging locations, storage areas, and workspaces.

• Coordinate with management, colleagues, carriers, and internal partners to resolve shipment, inventory, and material-flow issues.

• Support audit readiness by maintaining organized inventory, accurate records, and consistent adherence to established processes.

• Contribute to continuous improvement activities that strengthen safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and on-time execution.

• Work overtime or adjusted schedules when business needs require, consistent with local practices and applicable requirements.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, shipping and receiving, material handling, inventory control, or a similar environment.

• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices, inventory processes, and order fulfillment methods.

• Experience using warehouse management, inventory, shipping, or barcode scanning systems is desired.

• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and related material-handling equipment; current equipment certification is preferred where applicable.

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, shipping documentation, labels, and safety procedures.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to enter, retrieve, and verify inventory or shipment information accurately.

• Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with management and colleagues.

• Ability to perform the physical activities associated with warehouse work, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting or moving materials, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• High school diploma or equivalent is desired.

• Forklift, powered industrial truck, workplace safety, or related logistics certifications are preferred where relevant to the site and role.
