Join the UCLA Department of Radiology, a nationally recognized leader in academic medicine, imaging innovation, research, and education. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for a diverse portfolio of educational programs, including residency and fellowship training, medical student education, continuing education programs, and workforce development initiatives. The incumbent partners closely with faculty, program directors, and institutional stakeholders to ensure program excellence, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional educational experience for learners at all levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daytoday operations and longterm planning for Radiology education programs, including GME, CME, CE, medical student, and pipeline programs.
- Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to education coordinators, ensuring compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and institutional requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance program quality, operational efficiency, learner experience, and educational outcomes.
- Serve as a key liaison with faculty, trainees, the Graduate Medical Education Office, Dean's Office, Medical Staff Office, and other UCLA partners.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with ACGME and other applicable accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, program assessments, and special projects that support departmental educational goals.
- Foster collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students, and institutional stakeholders to support a culture of educational excellence.
Salary: $7,408.33- $15,858.33 monthly
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- 3+ years of experience in health professions education, including graduate medical education administration (residency and/or fellowship)
- Demonstrated knowledge of the health professions education industry, including Graduate Medical Education (GME), residency and fellowship programs, medical student education, and Continuing Medical Education (CME). Knowledge of applicable accreditation, regulatory, compliance, and program administration requirements.
- Effective communication skills with peers, trainees, faculty, and education program coordinators.
- Demonstrated skill in financial analysis, planning, preparation and administration of a budget
Preferred:
- Masters Degree
- 2+ years of experience supporting or overseeing programs subject to accreditation, regulatory, or compliance requirements
- 2+ years of Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of department, organization, HR, and University policies and processes. Current knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and accreditation standards applicable to health professions education, including GME/ACGME and CME requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in training and guiding employees in an education office.
