This opportunity is based on a Forklift Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Forklift certification is a plus Experience Requirements Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience required. At least 6 months of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred. Experience loading, unloading, and moving materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and safety. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with supervisors and team members. Reliable attendance and flexibility to work varying schedules, overtime, and Saturdays as needed. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform warehouse duties throughout the shift. Ability to work on and off the forklift for extended periods. Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials in a warehouse environment. Ability to work flexible 5-8 hour shifts based on daily mail volume and operational needs. Job Duties Operate a sit-down forklift to move, stack, load, and unload Gaylords, mail, and other materials. Inspect deliveries and verify materials before loading and unloading shipments. Assist with mail sorting and general warehouse operations as needed. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, both by forklift and manually with team members. Maintain accurate material movement and storage throughout the facility. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines. Support daily production goals while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and team members to ensure efficient operations.
