About the Role:

The Sr. Specialist, Email Marketing will support our growing direct-to-consumer (D2C) ecommerce program by developing and executing email marketing strategies that drive engagement, conversion, sales, and revenue. This role will manage the day-to-day execution of sales-focused email campaigns, including audience segmentation, campaign development, testing, quality assurance, reporting, and optimization. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of direct response marketing experience, email platform and data expertise, and a test-and-learn mindset. Success requires strong attention to detail, curiosity, initiative, and the ability to collaborate across sales, marketing, content, and other stakeholders to continuously improve campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute email marketing strategies across promotional, prospecting, cart abandonment, onboarding, triggered, and other D2C campaigns.
• Partner with D2C, content, sales, and marketing teams to plan campaigns and provide insights on creative, cadence, audiences, and historical performance.
• Define audience targeting and segmentation strategies and create appropriate email audiences and marketing lists.
• Build, maintain, QA, and launch email campaigns and templates within the email service platform (ESP), ensuring accurate and timely execution.
• Manage campaign data requirements, assets, targeting, rendering, and other production elements to ensure campaign accuracy.
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing reporting and actionable insights to improve engagement, conversion, sales, and revenue.
• Develop and execute testing strategies to continuously optimize campaign creative, targeting, cadence, and overall performance.
• Stay current on email marketing trends, platform capabilities, technologies, and industry standards to identify opportunities to enhance processes and program performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of relevant direct-to-consumer ecommerce or direct response marketing experience, including experience with CRM and marketing technologies.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with email marketing platforms and executing ad hoc, promotional, and triggered email campaigns; experience with Iterable is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience working with customer data to develop audience targeting, segmentation, and marketing lists.
• Experience supporting D2C email marketing programs with a strong understanding of campaign testing, measurement, and optimization.
• Strong proficiency with HTML/CSS and experience building, testing, and troubleshooting email campaigns.
