Temporary Research Assistant - Haim Lab

The Department of Microbiology at The University of Iowa is seeking a temporary Research Assistant to conduct research that centers on characterizing the molecular basis of HIV-1 fusion and inhibition by antibodies and on the forces that guide the evolution of these tightly-linked properties in the infected host in the lab of Dr. Hillel Haim.

Interested applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Cell Biology or Biology or a equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be able to independently design, execute and interpret experiments, work in collaboration with other members of the laboratory, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This position is temporary and is paid on an hourly basis of $21.00per hour.
