Are you passionate about supporting young children as they navigate behavioral health challenges and develop the skills they need to be successful in school, daycare, and other settings? Our Behavioral Health team provides compassionate, supportive care to children ages 3-6 who are experiencing behavioral health symptoms that may interfere with their ability to thrive in their daily environments. As a Therapeutic Tech, you'll provide one-on-one support, encouragement, supervision, and structure to children throughout the emergency assessment and crisis screening process. As a Therapeutic Tech, a typical day might include the following:

• Providing one-on-one attention, encouragement, and support to children undergoing the emergency assessment and crisis screening process.

• Supporting children as they navigate behavioral health symptoms and challenging situations in a safe, structured, and compassionate environment.

• Supervising children during therapeutic groups held onsite and during offsite field trips, as needed.

• Helping maintain a positive and supportive environment that encourages children to participate in activities and engage appropriately with peers and staff.

• Participating in case conferences, staff meetings, supervision, and assigned onsite or offsite trainings.

• Documenting patient interactions and relevant information in the medical record in accordance with program policies and procedures.

• Maintaining established departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and objectives related to confidentiality, crisis management, cultural sensitivity, safety, and quality of care.

• Collaborating with members of the clinical team to support the behavioral health needs of children receiving services.

• Meeting established customer satisfaction goals while maintaining a compassionate, respectful, and child-centered approach.

• You are passionate about supporting young children experiencing behavioral health challenges.

• You enjoy working with children ages 3-6 and helping them feel safe, supported, and encouraged.

• You are patient, compassionate, and comfortable providing one-on-one support to children who may be experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.

• You enjoy working as part of a dynamic clinical and interdisciplinary team.

• You are interested in gaining experience in the behavioral health field and developing your skills while supporting children and families.

• You can remain calm, professional, and supportive when working with children during assessment or crisis situations.

• You communicate clearly and respectfully with children, families, clinicians, and other members of the care team.

• You are dependable, receptive to supervision and coaching, and committed to creating a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, with a concentration in psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Prior experience working with youth preferred, particularly children ages 3-6 years.

• Interest in behavioral health and working with children experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a clinical team.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Schedule and hours to be determined based on program needs.

• Onsite and offsite responsibilities may be required.

• Participation in assigned trainings, meetings, and supervision is required.
