JOB ANNOUNCEMENT COORDINATOR OF COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT OF WATER MANAGEMENT COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE Number of Positions: 1 (Additional vacancies possible pending budget approval) Starting Salary: $78,768; Grade: BX-16 Applications for this position will be accepted until 11:59 pm DST on Monday, October 12, 2026. Additional duties may be required for this position Location: Jardine Water Purification Plant 1000 East Ohio Street Hours/Days: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday THIS POSITION IS CAREER SERVICE. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications * Eight (8) years of community or social service work experience, OR * Graduation from an accredited college with an Associate's degree in the Social Sciences or a directly related field, plus six (6) years community or social service experience, OR * Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences or a directly related field, plus four (4) years community or social service experience, OR * Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree or higher in the Social Sciences or a directly related field, plus three (3) years community or social service experience NOTE: You must provide a copy of your transcripts/diploma at the time of processing, if applicable. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position based on the written and oral assessment, will be selected.
