The Finance and Planning (F&P) Talent Development Program is designed for recent graduates and experienced professionals seeking a transition into higher education finance. Participants receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience in Georgia Tech's financial administration environment. The program combines structured learning with practical application through rotational assignments across the central F&P office and distributed campus units. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, limited term appointment for one year. While the program does not guarantee permanent placement, participants are actively prepared to be competitive candidates for full-time roles at Georgia Tech upon completion.

Comprehensive Training on Financial Systems: Master Georgia Tech's financial systems, budgeting tools, and reporting platforms through structured training modules and expert-led workshops.

The Finance Professional is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis. This role involves preparing reports, analyzing financial data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial activities with the organization's goals. The Finance Professional provides insights that drive informed decision-making and improve financial outcomes.

Job Duty 1 -

Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports to inform strategic decision-making, identifying trends and variances that impact financial performance.

Job Duty 2 -

Collaborate with departmental leaders to develop budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and resource allocation.

Job Duty 3 -

Monitor financial performance and conduct variance analysis, providing actionable recommendations for improvement to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices, conducting regular reviews of policies and procedures to maintain adherence.

Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures that promote transparency and accountability.

Educational Requirements
Associate's Degree in related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proposed Salary: $41,551 to $60,000. Commensurate with education and experience.
